First, head to the top menu and choose Calendar & Pricing, under the Host Menu. Once you are on the Calendars & Pricing page make sure you have the needed listing selected in the listings list at the top of the page. At the bottom of the page, you can see the external calendars section for the specified listing. Here you can import new external calendars, sync and remove existing ones and find a link to your own calendar if you are willing to import it from some other place.

Importing

To import a new external calendar fill in its address and click the Import button. The imported calendar URL should appear above and all its events should be seen in the calendar on the top of the page. You can add multiple external calendars and have all their events in your Hawaii Chee calendar.

If you already have a calendar with the same URL you will get this error message:

If you entered a calendar URL that can't be imported you will see the following message first:

Then our server will try it import your calendar again a couple of times within the next 10 minutes. And if that won't work either you will see the following error instead:

At the same time, in this case, you will receive an email notification about the external calendar import failure. So you don't need to come back to the page to know the result. If there is no email then your import succeeded.

Should you get the email with a sync error double check your external calendar URL again and if it seems right please contact our support team.

Syncing

All the existing external calendars are synced automatically every hour. The last synced time is shown below every calendar's URL.

You can always sync a calendar manually by clicking the sync icon next to the calendar URL.

It could happen that sync would fail. The most likely reason is the external calendar server's temporary problems. In this case, you will see the same behavior as in importing calendar failure. First of all, you will get this message:

Then our server will try it import your calendar again a couple of times within the next 10 minutes. And if that won't work either you will see the following error:

At the same time you will receive an email notification about the importing failure. So you don't need to come back to the page to know the result. If there is no email then your import succeeded.

Should you get the email with a sync error double check your external calendar URL again and if it seems right please contact our support team.

Once the failed to import calendar was successfully imported it gets back into the hourly automatic sync cycle.

Removing

You can remove an external calendar by clicking the remove icon next to the calendar URL.

This will remove both the calendar and all it's events.
